About Peter Bergdahl

Peter Bergdahl is a consultant, coach, published author, and founder of Expertum Consulting. At 59 years of age, he lived and worked full-time as a consultant in eight different countries over three continents. Peter's second home is in Japan, where he lived for seven years, working with projects, general management, and sales. Some smaller and medium sized projects and some projects with a budget close to a billion American dollars.

Nowadays, Peter helps project-, program-, and PMO managers delivering successful projects without spending more time in the office. He strives to help them doing that while working less.

But enough with boring self-aggrandizement.

Let's Talk About You

Allow me to be frank. My services are not for everyone...

My goal is that my clients get massive improvements quickly, I have three criteria for who I do business with.

1. You Already Have a Background As Project-, Program-, or PMO Manager

I only work personally with already established project professionals, so I won't be a good match if you're just starting out. Yes, there are some exceptions, but they are rare. However, if you're just starting out, I have some excellent courses for you to begin your journey.

2. Ready To Invest In Your Success

My second criterion is that you are prepared and able to invest in professional coaching or consulting. This ensures we have the time and resources needed to create meaningful progress, driving the success you’re looking to achieve.

3. You Are Willing To Work For It

My third criterion is your willingness to dedicate time and energy to the project. Improving and scaling what we do together will be possible, but I can't offer you a "push-button" solution. You must roll up your sleeves and dedicate yourself while we create the system.

You’re the One Holding the Project Together —

So Why Are You Still the One Getting Blamed?

(And Why Do You Still Feel Like You Can’t Say What Needs to Be Said?)

If you’re a project manager, you already know:

You don’t need more theory.

You don’t need another generic “framework.”

You need to know what to say when the ask is insane, the silence is deafening, or the blame is quietly sliding your way.

That’s where this system comes in.

The Power Play Method Gives You the Words, Tone, and Timing to:

  • Push back without being labeled “difficult”

  • Speak with clarity — even when things are vague, political, or tense

  • Move the project forward without absorbing the fallout

  • Protect your role, your time, and your reputation

  • Look calm and confident even when the room is spinning

No fluff. No jargon. No B.S.

Just the exact language to help you lead under pressure — without apologizing for it.

What You’ll Build in 30 Minutes:

This isn’t another training to “think like a leader.” You already think like one.

This is how you speak like one — when it actually counts.

We call it the Power Triangle — and when you activate these three things, people listen:

  • Clarity – So you stop overexplaining and start directing

  • Control – So you don’t freeze when tension spikes

  • Respect – Giving your team lightweight, repeatable tools they can use right away

You’ve handled chaos long enough. Now handle it with control, clarity, and respect.
